Cardboard Geometric Toy

Here is just another sampling of what can be made for free with leftover cardboard. Evgenye from Play and Grow works as an architect during the day and invents toys from scrap materials for his young daughter in his spare time.

This is probably the perfect development toy for any young baby to enjoy. The bright colors definitely provide an eye catching wow factor!

Evgenye cut out the geometric shapes and then had fun making the holes and gluing on the colorful cardboard paper. The project does require a few measurements and cuts to make the holes fit perfectly within each dowel, but nothing a little trial and error can’t fix.

The tutorial is written in Russian but you can read more about this project by translating the instructions online at Play and Grow.
